Personal Statement |
Perseverance - is a word I would use to describe myself. As a freshman in high school I had two fingers amputated and by my junior year had become one of best baseball pitchers in the GSL. After helping start my brothers construction business I fell and shattered an ankle. Three years later after retraining started my graphic/web design career with my current employer. I am doing all aspects of multimedia design and take great pride in doing high quality work. I am always putting in the time to learn and expand my talents in an effort to becoming “the best I can be”. | ||||||
Objective |
Long Term Career - is what I think of when someone asks me what my objective is. I am a husband and father of three beautiful kids that I need to provide for. I am working for a company now that even in the presidents own words, calls themselves a stepping stone, for employees to use while finding something bigger and better. I am in search of a company that appreciates the knowledge and talent it takes to be a graphic/web designer. I am in search of a company that is a fun but a challenging place to work on a daily basis. I am in search of a company that is willing to pay their employees a living wage. I am in search of a company that provides medical benefits and retirement plan for employees. Most of all I am in search of a company that wants to have a long term working relationship with me as much as I want to have a long term career with the employer. | ||||||

At my current place of employment I am constantly updating our web site at www.mmilne.com. I have completely redesigned the web site for MMI. I have also designed MMI's 2005-2015 product catalog as well as flyers and ads that we have been published in industry magazines. I send out weekly email marketing content to our customers promoting our products and services. I started this job at MMI working under the art director eleven years ago. About one year after I started the art director was let go and I have filled that position. I have trained, worked with and managed many people during my time at MMI. I make sure all work for our catalogue, flyers, ads and special promotions are done in a professional and timely manner. I now have eleven years of professional experience working in the graphic design, web design and marketing field. I have been leading the art department for ten years with great results to the bottom line. I know I have the skills to join your team and make a great impact on you and your clients. |
